Academic Success Center
Our mission is to provide complete services and programs that will empower students and link them with the resources they need to achieve both academic and personal goals. The ASC is available to all Lincoln College students free of charge. Academic assistance is available for all subject areas including walk-in hours for math and writing, study groups as well as private, one-on-one appointments. The ASC is open from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Lynx Learning Lab: Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Learning Specialists are available to assist with homework, brainstorm topic ideas, research, test prep, study strategies, writing assignments and so much more! Gehlbach Hall Room 102/104
Math Skills Lab:
Designed for students enrolled in MAT 091 and MAT 095. Learning Specialists are available to work on specific concepts, check homework and provide practice opportunities to help you master the math!

Math Tutoring Lab: Sign-Up, Show-Up
This lab caters to students enrolled in a college level math class. Contact the ASC to confirm your attendance at any of the following math labs to have your homework checked, work on specific concepts or brush up on your skills. Staffed by Learning Specialists and math faculty.
MAT 110 – Statistics Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm GH 104
MAT 119 – College Algebra Monday and Thursday 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm GH 104
MAT 105, 110, 119, and 125 Monday – Wednesday 4:15 pm – 6:15 pm GH 104
Writing Center: Monday through Thursday 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in GH 104
Located in the Academic Success Center, Learning Specialists are available to work with students at any stage of the writing process.
Study Groups/Sign-Up, Show-Up
Each semester the Academic Success Center offers a variety of study groups for academically challenging classes such as microbiology, chemistry and anatomy and physiology. Students must sign-up in advance to confirm their attendance in an existing group. Fall 2017 Study Groups include: BIO Study Group, CHEM Study Group_fa2017, Zoology Study Group.
Professional tutors work with students to master textbook material in any class. We will assist you in organizing your notes, outlining chapters, time management, and preparing for exams.
Academic Enrichment Seminars
Various seminars are offered throughout the semester designed to assist students by strengthening skills in a variety of areas such as: Time Management, SQ3R Reading Strategies, Note Taking Strategies, Memory Tips and Techniques, Career Exploration, Test Anxiety and many more.
